Taylor Swift - Intruder Breaks Into Her House For The Second Time And Gets Arrested

It seems like someone really didn’t get it the first time! After breaking into Taylor Swift’s apartment in New York early today, a man was arrested by the NYPD!

The thing is, it is not the first time this happens!

The police department has confirmed via E! News that Roger Alvarado was taken into custody at around 2:45 A.M. today after climbing to the second floor’s balcony and breaking the singer’s window with a brick before entering her place.

Obviously, it didn’t take long for the authorities to show up and catch the intruder since the security system alerted them.

Because he violated an order of protection, he was charged with criminal contempt in addition to burglary, criminal mischief and the possession of burglary tools (aka, the brick).

Luckily, at the time the man broke into her house, Taylor Swift was not there.

Shockingly enough, this is the second time Alvarado was arrested for breaking into the superstar’s house, in not even a year!

The first time it happened was back in April.

He was charged with stalking, burglary, criminal mischief, and trespassing at the time.

In December, the man pleaded guilty and was sentenced to six months behind bars in February but reports say he had served most of his sentence by that time already.

A spokesperson for the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office told E! News that the plea deal he accepted included those six months in jail as well as five years of probation.

Alvarado was also ordered to respect a protection order for no less than eight years; which, he obviously broke!

Just yesterday, Taylor published a letter for Elle’s April issue in which she revealed 30 things she learned before the age of 30.

Ironically enough, that included a point in which she talked about her safety!

‘My fear of violence continued into my personal life. I carry a QuikClot army-grade bandage dressing, which is for gunshot and stab wounds. Tabloids have taken it upon themselves to share every home address I have ever had online. You get enough stalkers trying to break into your house and you sort of start prepping for bad things.’
