Teen Mom Jenelle Evans' Mother Barbara Accuses David Eason Of Abuse And Keeping Her Daughter As A Prisoner

Teen Mom fans have long suspected that David Eason’s fights with Jenelle Evans are often violent in nature. Evans’ desperate call to the police last fall gave everyone a glimpse into the couple’s rocky and potentially abusive marriage. Although Evans has since dismissed the call as a big misunderstanding, her mom, Barbara Evans, believes Eason is holding her daughter hostage.

On the most recent episode of Teen Mom 2, Barbara opened up about the situation and revealed that Eason gets mad at Evans whenever she returns home from a day of filming. Barbara then dropped a bombshell by saying she believes Eason is holding her daughter hostage and preventing her from leaving their home.

“I think he’s hurting her and he’s just keeping her…” Barbara shared. “I can see it, it’s a domestic abuse thing and he’s keeping her like a prisoner.”

Eason’s downfall began almost a year ago, when MTV decided to fire him from Teen Mom 2. The disgraced reality star’s behavior has only gotten more erratic since then. Not only has he remained unemployed – presumably living off Evan’s Teen Mom salary – over the past year, he continuously shares disturbing videos on social media.

Evans’ co-stars are also worried about what Eason might do. In fact, crew members have expressed concern about filming scenes with Evans because they fear Eason might arrive to disrupt things. Those worries became a reality when Eason showed up at Jace’s soccer game. MTV crews stopped filming once he arrived and Evans refused to be a part of the show any longer.

It is unclear if Evans is done with the series moving forward. A teaser trailer for next week’s episode shows her getting emotional about the entire situation. Unfortunately, unless Evans gets clear of Evans and his disturbing behavior, it looks like her troubles are just getting started.

Jenelle Evans has not commented on the latest reports surrounding Eason and the show.
