Teen Mom - Kailyn Lowry Walks Off The Set During Reunion

Part three of the Teen Mom 2 reunion special aired this week, and star Kailyn Lowry walked off the set after a communication breakdown with MTV host Ness Diab. It happened when Lowry was trying to help keep the stars of Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant separated to avoid a fight, and when Diab told her to “sit back there” instead, Lowry misunderstood what she was saying.

The 27-year-old was sitting between the cast members of Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant because star Ashley Jones had accused her co-stars – Kayla Sessler, Brianna Jaramillo, and Rachel Beaver – of leaving her out of their clique.

When Diab said, “Kail, sit back there,” she meant for Lowry to move to a seat that was further away from the group instead of in the middle. But, Lowry thought she was directing her off stage and got offended.

Lowry stood up and asked “What?” before walking off the set. “Ooh! Bye! Bye Nessa, see you later,” added the mom-of-three.

This reunion has not been an easy one for Lowry. She admitted during part one that she was having a difficult time with her ex Chris Lopez, who is the father of her two-year-old son, Lux Russell.

Lowry told Dr. Drew that “no co-parenting” was going on because Lopez needed to work on himself and go to therapy. She revealed that Lopez hadn’t seen Lux in a while, but he would when the time was right.

Lowry – who is also the mom of Isaac, 9, with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera, and Lincoln, 6, with ex-husband Javi Marroquin – admitted that she tried for a long time to rekindle her romance with Lopez after Lux was born. But, she gave up earlier this year because things had gotten “horrible” and she no longer had any expectations that they could work things out.

“I literally don’t even know what to think at this point. I can’t change his mind. I’ve walked in my truth,” Lowry told People magazine.

Lowry added that she has ruined other relationships for Lopez, but it never worked out. At this point, Lowry says she can’t convince Lopez of what he’s done to her, and she’s stuck around long enough.

Kailyn Lowry says that when it comes to Chris Lopez, things are “either really good or they’re really bad.”

Teen Mom 2 will return to MTV in 2020 with all new episodes.
