Ryan Edwards will have to get used to life behind bars — at least for a few more months. The Teen Mom OG star will reportedly stay in jail while he awaits judgement on possession of heroin and theft charges.
A courthouse clerk in Red Bank, Tennessee, revealed that Edwards appeared before a judge this week, who extended the case until the middle of April. The clerk also stated that a bond has not been set for Edwards, which means he will remain in jail until his next court date.

“The case has been continued to April 15, 2019,” the clerk shared. “He’s going to serve time in county jail until then.”
Police arrested Edwards on January 23 for outstanding warrants. The reality star was charged with possession of heroin, which is also in violation of his probation terms. Edwards is on probation related to a 2017 heroin charge.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, Edwards was also charged with theft after he reportedly ordered drinks at a bar in Hamilton County, Tennessee and left without paying. A server at the establishment, Bud’s Sports Bar, claims that Edwards ordered six drinks of whiskey, valued at $36, and left without paying the bill.
Edwards is scheduled to appear in court next month to answer for the theft charges. It is unclear what kind of penalties Edwards could face if he is found guilty, but things are not looking good.
The Teen Mom star has a long history of substance abuse. He has been arrested on several occasions for heroin possession and has broken probation after failing drug tests. Edwards checked himself into rehab last year to break his habit, but the treatment program obviously didn’t pan out.

Edwards even missed the birth of his son, Jagger, because of rehab. Edwards, who also shares a child with Maci Bookout, welcomed his first with wife Mackenzie Standifer last October.
Mackenzie Standifer has not commented on Ryan Edwards’ latest arrest, though she has previously stood by him despite his ongoing struggles.
