50 Cent’s record, Get Rich or Die Tryin’, was easily one of the best rap records to come out in its decade. The record was very influential in the world of hip-hop, and it’s not surprising that many up and coming artists have cited it as one of the greats.

More importantly, the record later went on to solidify 50 Cent as the leader of G-Unit who helped all of the artists associated with the label, in addition to his career in the entertainment industry. Fans of Curtis Jackson, also known as 50 Cent, know that his work on Power has been hailed as well.

Artists such as Tekashi 6ix9ine, have also cited 50 Cent as a massive influence on his career, despite the fact 50 Cent later “disowned” him following his racketeering case. Tekashi 6ix9ine had to snitch on his former associates in the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods in order to receive a reduced sentence, which he did.

The move got him into a lot of trouble among his contemporaries, but that hasn’t stopped him from continuing to put out work. Hot New Hip Hop reported today that he would consider remaking the classic song from the aforementioned record, “Many Men.”

Tekashi 6ix9ine said during an IG Live recently that he’d definitely work with 50 Cent if given the opportunity, before going on to singing his own rendition of the song’s chorus. DJ Akademiks pointed out to him the Pop Smoke had already done the same thing, and 6ix9ine said, “I know, that s**t was so hard.”

Even though Tekashi 6ix9ine’s status in the industry is currently in peril, at least in terms of reputation, the artist is still shouting out 50 Cent for his past work.

As it was previously reported, Tekashi 6ix9ine and 50 Cent once had a great relationship, but it came to an end once the 23-year-old rapper took the stand in court against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

Later, when asked if he would work with Tekashi 6ix9ine, 50 Cent said succinctly that he wouldn’t.
