Tekashi 6ix9ine has been all over the entertainment media headlines for the past few weeks. Earlier this month, Tekashi took to his Instagram to address the snitching allegations and also asked fans to head on over to his YouTube channel to watch “GOOBA,” his brand new music video.

“GOOBA” went on to break records on the platform, including “Killshot,” from Eminem, the diss-track that was in response to Machine Gun Kelly’s song, “Rap Devil.” While 6ix9ine is mostly known for his involvement with social media trolling and racketeering court cases, it looks like he’s been trying to do some good too.

It was reported earlier this week that Daniel Hernandez, 23, also known as Tekashi 6ix9ine, tried to make a fairly significant donation to a charity organization. Hot New Hip Hop reported, however, that they turned down his lump sum of money.

According to the aforementioned outlet, Tekashi 6ix9ine tried to donate $200,000 to the group, No Kid Hungry. The group released a statement soon after the donation was made public stating that they had to deny the offer.

They wrote in their statement that Tekashi’s behavior is not consistent with their company’s values and mission. Hernandez, on his social media account, claimed he had never seen something so cruel.

As it was noted above, Tekashi 6ix9ine has been dominating the headlines for the last 2 weeks. Since his release to home confinement, 6ix9ine dropped a brand new music video and song, “GOOBA,” and has been active on social media once again.

Perhaps one of the more interesting aspects of his return to form was his explanation for why he chose to snitch on his former associates. Tekashi said on Instagram that he wasn’t about to help out men who betrayed him.

The rapper claimed there was “no loyalty,” between himself and the members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. He cited a number of examples, including sleeping with the mother of his child, stealing money, extortion, and attempted kidnapping.
