Terry Crews received mixed opinions when it came to speaking out against a Hollywood heavy-hitter for inappropriately groping him. 50 Cent and Russell Simmons were among some of the people he confronted via social media for mocking his sexual assault claims.
Crews’ exchange with comedian D.L Hughley made headlines everywhere when he asked if he should ‘slap the s***’ out of D.L for insinuating that Terry Crews has muscles so he should never have allowed the assault to happen.
It was overlooked that the ‘Brooklyn 99’ actor also slammed some other insensitive celebrities. He called out social media troll and ‘Power’ actor 50 Cent and entrepreneur Russell Simmons too.
“You @50cent @unclerush and @tariqnasheed have decided my sexual assault was hilarious, whereas there are a whole generation of black women and men who don’t think it’s funny. ABUSERS PROTECT ABUSERS but they MOCK SURVIVORS as well. When you see me, keep it moving.“

50 reposted a meme of Terry when he first revealed the incident that had an illustration of Crews with a cartoon bubble that said: “I got raped, my wife just watched. Gym time.”
The rapper added as caption questioning: “LOL,What the f*** is going on out here man? Terry: l froze in fear, they would have had to take me to jail. Get the strap.”
Russell, on the other hand, advised Terry not to come forward in an email that he exposed and spoke about last year. The email told Crews to give the perpetrator a pass and ask that he be reinstated to his job.
Russell tweeted back to Terry: “My bad never ever meant to silence you I gave my best advice which was wrong, thank you for being a leader.”
He went on to say: “Let me clarify i thought that he might be putting himself in bad position so i made the terrible mistake of advising him wrongly I WAS NOT ever thinking of anything but his well being i was VERY WRONG and I’m glad he stayed the course he is a hero for all of us.”
What do you think about this situation? Do you think 50 Cent will address it?
