Some big changes are ahead for the cast of the Real Housewives of Orange County. The show’s last original star, Vicki Gunvalson, has yet to film scenes for Season 14, and inside sources say that she has been replaced by some new blood next season.
“Vicki has not filmed yet,” the insider dished.

The source told Us Magazine that the rest of the cast has already starting shooting for the new season. There’s also a newcomer in the mix in Braunwyn Windham-Burke, who is reportedly serving as Gunvalson’s replacement. Windham-Burke is the wife of Season Burke, the CEO of Channelstars. She also has seven children and runs the popular blog, Barefoot in Heels.
Gunvalson’s future on the show was first questioned after her explosive Season 13 reunion, in which she accused Kelly Dodd of using cocaine. After the reunion aired, Dodd slammed Gunvalson on social media for making false accusations and vowed to quit the show if her co-star wasn’t fired.
The feud only got worse from there. While Gunvalson bashed Dodd for not having a proper career, the RHOC star ridiculed Gunvalson’s plastic surgery, noting that it looked like her facelift was suffering from a “malfunction.”
After things got heated on social media, sources revealed that Bravo had decided to demote Gunvalson to friend status next season. Gunvalson was reportedly crushed by the news and does not want to appear on the show in such a limited role.

Gunvalson, who has been a part of the series since the very beginning, has responded to the demotion rumors. Taking to Twitter, the OG of the OC assured fans that the reports are false and that she is still in negotiations with Bravo about returning for Season 14. The network has not commented on the casting rumors.
“Unless you hear it from me, then it’s simply a rumor. I am in negotiations,” Vicki Gunvalson stated.
The new season of the Real Housewives of Orange County is expected to premiere sometime this year.
