During the newest episode for Jersey Shore Family Vacation, The Situation was shown trying to come to terms with his prison time for tax evasion. As fans know, in the present, the reality TV star is already serving his 8 months long sentence.
Taking a trip to the dude ranch, Mike Sorrentino, also known as The Situation, tried his best to just enjoy some comfort food and make jokes with his castmates, remaining positive before going to prison.
The footage was, of course, filmed before he turned himself in to the Federal Correctional Institution in Otisville.
At that time, Mike still had a few more weeks of freedom and it’s obvious that he wanted to make the most of it.
As a result, he surrounded himself with family as well as his friends from Jersey Shore, including Snooki, Deena Cortese, JWoww, Vinny Guadagnino, Pauly D, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Angelina Pivarnick.
While at the end of last week’s episode the cast was seen reacting to Mike’s sentencing in a pretty emotional manner, this episode, fans were able to see them having a conversation after their friend’s appearance in court.
The trip to the ranch was planned by Jenni in order to cheer The Situation up.
The man really appreciated it and later in the episode he admits that it was a great idea to spend some quality time with his friends before his sentencing.
He added: ‘These guidos can make me laugh, even in the craziest of situations. I am so excited to have a chill, drama free, peaceful getaway with my best friends after one of the biggest events in my life.’
During the same episode, Ronnie jokes that they should just ‘smuggle Mike to Canada.’
And the joke did not end there as even Mike himself later added to it when he tried horseback riding for the first time.
‘Giddy up, horse, we’re going to Canada,’ he said after hopping on the animal’s back.
