The Talk: Sharon Osbourne Praises ‘Best Friend’ Sara Gilbert During Her Final Episode

Sara Gilbert has taped her last episode of The Talk. Her best friend Sharon Osbourne is praising the actress in an emotional goodbye message that is sure to leave viewers in tears.

Friday afternoon, Gilbert will join Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, Carrie Ann Inaba and Eve at the table one last time. The Conners star is bidding farewell to the CBS daytime talk show she helped launched ten years ago.

The show released a sneak peek of Osbourne breaking down as she prepares to be on the show without her best friend. Yes, what fans may not be aware of is that Ozzy Osbourne’s wife and Gilbert are the best of pals. The two are the only original hosts on The Talk. Soon there will be only one original host left at the table.

“I hate doing this. Coming every day, seeing Sara, she can read me, I can read her. If there’s anything on my mind, I tell Sara. Now, it’s like, I won’t have Sara here,” she began as tears welled up in her eyes.

Osbourne traded in her rough around the edge’s remarks for words of love for her friend. She was emotional, vulnerable, and raw as she praised her pal.

“While my husband’s been sick, Sara’s just gone out of her way to find little things that she knows he’ll like and buy for him and he considers her a friend too. She’s like a sister that I never had. I can tell her things, and she gives me good advice. It is like not having a sister with you anymore, and it’s going to be hard,” Osbourne shared.

Thankfully Osbourne and Gilbert live very close to each other. Although it won’t be the same as working together every single day, they at least won’t have to travel far to get in some quality friend time.

It is going to be one emotional hour of The Talk on Friday afternoon. The hosts will say goodbye to Sara Gilbert in her last episode. However, just because the actress is leaving her daily hosting duties does not mean she won’t be back in a guest host capacity.

Last April, Gilbert announced she was leaving the talk show to focus on her family and other projects, At the time, she admitted she would be back from time to time to check in on the hosts.
