This Is Us star Chrissy Metz posted a heartfelt message to social media that has fans convinced she and boyfriend Hal Rosenfeld have split.

Metz used Instagram to post a very lengthy message about troubled relationships, as well as knowing when it is time to walk away.

“I’m learning. I’m learning to be truly open. To see another perspective. To love differently. To change. To evolve. To trudge. If nothing changes, nothing changes,” the actress began her emotional note.

The picture Metz shared was of a quote talking about what comes after the honeymoon phase of a relationship. She too used the quote as a jumping off point to talk about how important it is for a couple to realize when the pivotal phase is over. Not only to realize it but that a couple should discuss it before moving forward with the relationship.

“If you’re deep into a relationship and feel disconnected, explore what parts of your partner, you might be rejecting and where you might feel rejected, too. If you can bring that convo forward or share this post and start a discussion about how to strengthen integrated love, I would love for you to do that. That’s all for now,” Metz ended her note to her fans.

Although the 38-year-old did not once mention the status of her relationship with Rosenfeld, the comments section of the post began filling with fan speculation.

Other comments simply asked the same question or assumed the answer was the couple is over because of her post. People don’t tend to post lengthy messages with a lesson, especially when it comes to matters of the heart unless they are going through something themselves.

Chrissy Metz has not responded to the fan inquiry into the status of her relationship with Hal Rosenfeld.

It is worth noting Rosenfeld is not featured anywhere on Metz’s Instagram feed, but that does not necessarily mean the couple has broken up. She likes to keep her private life on the down low, so the actress doesn’t usually portray her romances on social media.

The singing sensation never even confirmed she was dating Rosenfeld. US Weekly broke the news last November indicating from a source they had been dating for months. Her confirmation was taking him as her date to the Golden Globes this past January.
