Tom Cruise Will Not Attend Suri's 13th Birthday Celebration -- A Scientology Expert Explains Why He Cannot Get Close To Katie Holmes' Daughter

According to the latest reports, Suri Cruise will once more celebrate a birthday without her father being present.

On April 18th, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ only child together will be celebrating her 13th birthday.

It has been claimed that since Katie and the action star divorced he has not played an active role in Suri’s life because she is not a Scientologist.

Rick Ross, founder of The Cult Education Institute, explained why Tom cannot see his child: “Scientologists are taught to avoid being around Suppressive Persons or SPs. A person who hangs around an SP is often regarded as a Potential Trouble Source or PTS.”

Rick went on to say: “[F]or Tom Cruise to have a visit with his daughter Suri Cruise, he needs to come in contact with Katie Holmes and if she has been declared a Suppressive Person, which I think is very likely, then that Suri Cruise would be seen as a PTS. Tom Cruise would not want to come in contact with an SP. And if he views his daughter as a PTS, which is very likely, he would not be that excited about dealing with her either.”

And this year, nothing will change, the Mission: Impossible star will not be by his daughter’s side as she parties with her family and friends, but he will mail her a gift.

A source told Hollywood Life: “Tom does plan to send Suri a gift and call her on her birthday.”

The insider went on to reveal: “Tom does plan to send Suri a gift and call her on her birthday. As challenging as things have become for him and his daughter. He still loves her. [He] thinks about her all the time and will recognize that she is becoming a teenager and a young woman on her big day. Tom never intended to be estranged from his daughter when he decided to have a family with Katie and looks forward to repairing the relationship one day. But in the meantime, he knows the least he can do is reach out on her birthday.”

Meanwhile, the media outlet explained that Katie is doing a great job as a mother.

A source claimed: “She has done so well raising Suri, and is doing her very best to give her daughter a stable environment. Suri is Katie’s number one priority no matter what, and despite her father’s lack of presence at times, she has grown up incredibly well-adjusted and happy.”
