Toni Braxton Reveals She And Birdman Will Be Married This Year!

Toni Braxton and Birdman was quite the unexpected couple when it was announced that they were dating because before then — they were only collaborators and Toni didn’t seem like she’d go for the ‘bad boy’ type. However, as time went on their relationship that started as a friendship progressed.

Birdman proposed to his lady love and during the past few seasons, Braxton has talked about planning her wedding. But there were definitely a few bumps in the road off camera.

Not only did the Breathe Again singer lose her engagement ring, but the couple also sparked breakup rumors at the beginning of 2019 when they both wiped their social media profiles.

Additionally, Toni said on the show that the Cash Money head honcho gave her an ultimatum to either marry him by a certain date or they should call it quits. After not being seen together in public for quite some time — fans thought the worst.

In an appearance on the Wendy Williams Show last year, Birdman debunked the breakup rumors and made sure to let it be known that their relationship is fine.

However, the R&B songstress’ fans and family alike are wondering if a wedding between the two is still going to happen.

She recently spoke with the Rick and Sasha Morning Show where she clarified that the nuptials are very much on.

‘We have been going back and forth on wedding dates. We had a great date but then it was getting too big, we didn’t want a big wedding. Then we said, ‘OK, we don’t want it too small.’ Then he said, ‘OK, let’s do the drive through.’ I’m like, ‘We are not doing a drive through. I’m not ordering fries after we get married, babe.’ We’ve been trying to figure it out, but we are definitely gonna do it this year.’
