Tori Spelling Sets The Record Straight On Feud With Beverly Hills 90210 Costar Shannen Doherty

Tori Spelling is setting the record straight once and for all regarding the rumors she and Beverly Hills 90210 costar Shannen Doherty had a major feud back in the day.

It is no secret Doherty butted heads with the female leads on several of her TV show during the 1990s. The bad blood between her and Garth was allegedly one of the reasons Doherty left the hit Fox drama following the fourth season.

On Charmed the constant tension between Doherty and Alyssa Milano was reportedly the reason she left after only three seasons.

Doherty was labeled a diva and trouble maker, especially after exiting two hit shows only a few seasons into their long run.

Spelling was sometimes mentioned in the feuds as well, but now the actress is squashing all those pesky rumors. Guess what that is precisely what the stories were, exaggerated rumors!

“We were really close on the show, like, she was one of my best friends. And then when she left the show in 1994, there’s all of these press things that came out, like this rivalry. And it was never with us!” the mother of five explained on her husband, Dean McDermott’s Daddy’s Issues podcast, along with Adam Hunter and Nicky Paris.

When the rumor mill was buzzing back in the day, Spelling admitted she was encouraged not to comment on the stories, which is why she never spoke out until now.

The two ladies have reunited for BH90210 and life on set couldn’t be better between all of the cast members. Spelling, Jennie Garth and Gabrielle Carteris are all sharing an apartment in Vancouver during the show’s filming.

Despite Doherty not living with them, Spelling insists there is no feuding among the female cast members. The True Tori star was dragged recently for sharing a picture of her, Garth and Carteris at dinner and not including Doherty.

There is not now nor has there ever been any feuding between Tori Spelling and Shannen Doherty.

All of the drama from the original show days appears to have been squashed among cast members. They have endured a lot over the years.

Doherty’s breast cancer battle and Luke Perry’s death have certain reaffirmed the bond of the Beverly Hills 90210 gang.
