The mother of Reginae Carter and cutie pie Reign Rushing took to social media where she posted a video wearing no makeup and spoke to her fans from the heart about embracing, loving, and accepting oneself.

The beautiful message captivated thousands of people who thanked Toya for her kind words.

However, just moments after posting the empowering video, Toya made the silly move to share a few photos where she has a face full of makeup, and her fans were not having it and decided to call her out.

One critic said: “You were just embracing going natural with no makeup…that was fast 💨 LOL😆So are you going to take the weave out too? Or are you only willing to embrace what you feel is your “best natural asset!”

A defender shared: “You are the truth, nothing fake or a person needing attention, just merely the real deal. Lil Wayne has baby mammas everywhere, looking for another you, and id bet my newly built brand new house that he has told you so, that you were the real love and the real thing Beautiful. I love your spirit because you have stayed true to who you are and just seem like a chill, down to earth type of chick. God bless you and baby Beaux.”

Another fan stated: “You’re such a f-ing lady!!! @toyawright I have Always admired that about you. Keep spreading Love! Lord knows we have too much hate. It looks amazing on you!. She gave a positive and complimentary message, and you want to be negative…. she has beautiful natural hair anyway if you’ve ever followed her timeline and I’m pretty sure it’s Indian hair… you’re gorgeous.”

This supporter claimed: “Thanks because a lot of celebrity role models need to let Black woman & girls know it’s more to being Beautiful then make-up & surgery. That was so sweet!!! Thank you Beautiful!!! I so needed that!!! Don’t worry about it. All of us are black. That means you too… actually black nor white are colors..so we are not based on a color. If and when we get pass the challenge of saying black and just say what you are saying. We can grow..until then we will be lost.”

Toya has not responded to the backlash and many do not expect her to do so.
