As some fans know, Nicki Minaj and Trina collabed earlier this summer, releasing their song BAPS! However, Trina’s A&R manager accused the other rapper of not doing nearly enough to promote their song together. Now, the artist herself is finally addressing the drama.
So do the two stars have beef or not?
Well, according to her, there is none, even though her camp, Reginald Saunders in particular, previously dragged Nicki, calling her a ‘deceiver.’
While live on Instagram, Trina told her followers that ‘There is no beef between Nicki Minaj and I. There will be no disrespect for Nicki or nobody else that is on my album. I appreciate each and every artist who took the initiative to be a part of this album.’

The rapper continued, making it very clear that there was some ‘bad business’ that led to the whole incident but that from her point of view, Nicki ‘did her part.’
Previously, Trina’s A&R, Reginald Saunders, took to his IG to say, in part: ‘This is not the first time @nickiminaj has pulled this stunt. I cannot get over how fake people can be for a Lil fame, likes and followers. I cannot wait to see how all this is about to play out because you cannot stop karma’s reign, shame on you .. I mostly feel sorry for the #barbs because they have no clue of the deceiver and manipulator their leader is.’
Nicki previously defended herself during an episode of Queen Radio.
She argued that she has her own schedule as well and can’t do that much to push her song.
Furthermore, Nicki suggested that she was upset at Trina since she stressed that she would never let anyone from her camp drag someone she’d worked with and who had been nothing but nice to her.
