Trina McGee is reflecting on some harsh times she endured on the set of Boy Meets World. On the 12th of January, Trina stated she was the victim of racism on the popular 1990s situation-comedy, Boy Meets World, in which she co-starred alongside Rider Strong, Danielle Fishel, and Ben Savage.
BET reported on a Twitter post from the actress in which she claimed one of her co-stars called her “Aunt Jemima” while preparing her hair and makeup, and she was also referred to as a “bitter b*tch,” by others.
Ace Show Biz claims McGee-Davis was alluding to three of her colleagues but never revealed which ones they were. According to the actress, the disrespect she experienced was “extremely stressful” at times, and at the age of 25, it was a real challenge to deal with, especially in conjunction with the family she was taking care of at the time.
And somewhat comedically, the actress said in her original tweets that her colleagues didn’t have any children and just had “cowardly egos and hot diarrhea mouths.” Since then, Trina has commented on the matter again.
Called aunt Jemima on set during hair and make up. Called a bitter bitch when I quietly waited for my scene to finish rehearsing that was being f’ed up over and over due to episode featuring my character. Told “ it was nice of you to join us” like a stranger after 60 episodes

Trina wrote on her Instagram that it was “Will Friedle,” who referred to her as “Aunt Jemima,” and he apologized to her over twenty years ago, and also sent her a three-page letter recently.
Trina alleges that Will admitted to not having the right education at the time, and wasn’t even aware of how offensive he was being. McGee continued in her post, conceding that it wasn’t “extreme” racism, at least, like some of her family members endured many years ago.
She went on to tell a story about her grandfather, who, after a petty transaction with a store clerk, had to leave his native South Carolina for fear of being lynched. The actress said Scuddie McGee was forced to leave his home because he was scared for his life.
Trina revealed that her grandpa left the state and went to New Jersey, bringing his family along with him. With all that said, Trina has moved on from it. Will apologized, so she forgave him.
