Charlie Hunnam is heading to Motor City Comic Con this year and, while he isn’t taking any fans for a ride on his Dyna, he will be teaching a yoga class with a very special guest. Event organizers just announced that the Triple Frontier star will be hosting a yoga session with his former Sons of Anarchy co-star Ryan Hurst.
After the series wrapped in 2014 after seven seasons, Hunnam revealed he had drifted apart from Hurst, but they reunited and found some common ground with yoga.

“Ryan is one of my best friends,” Hunnam said. “There were a couple years where I didn’t spend much time with Ryan, and then I got into a yoga practice that he has really devoted himself to in a very significant way. So, we now see each other very, very frequently at this Kundalini yoga studio that we both go to. He’s one of my dear friends.”
Hunnam’s Motor City Comic Con appearance is scheduled for May 19, and his session with Hurst is titled “Yogis of Anarchy.” Fans can get into the event for $75 a ticket, which can be purchased online.
Unfortunately, fans will also need to purchase a general admission pass in order to get to the session. If you plan on attending the yoga session, you are encouraged to bring your own mat and appropriate clothing.
Prior to his appearance on the big screens, Hunnam made a name for himself starring as Jax Teller on Kurt Sutter’s hit biker drama Sons of Anarchy. Hurst played the part of Jax’s best friend, Opie, on the show.
According to Freep, Hunnam has been actively involved in the movie industry following the end of SOA, including parts in The Lost City of Z, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Crimson Peak, and Triple Frontier.
Hunnam’s newest movie, Triple Frontier, premiered on Netflix this month and stars Ben Affleck, Garrett Hedlund, Oscar Isaac, and Pedro Pascal. The film centers on the story of a team of former soldiers who plan to rob a drug cartel. Hunnam plays the part of William “Ironhead” Miller in the movie.
