Social media was up in flames as people questioned if gospel singing legend CeCe Winans was a Trump supporter. She took to her profile to deliver a video message.

After it was revealed that she was tasked by the white house to deliver a message from the Department of Health and Human Services in an ad campaign, people took to Twitter in disbelief.

CeCe took to Twitter where she appeared in a video explaining her side of the story.

‘I was asked a couple weeks ago to do an interview with the surgeon general, Jerome Adams, about the coronavirus, and this interview stresses how important it is for everyone to wear a mask and it also gives us other instructions on how to get on the other side of this pandemic. It was not political at all. We have lost so many lives because of COVID-19. Let’s all do everything we can so we won’t lose any more. God bless you.’

After she shared the clip, fans were still confused as to if she supports the current president or not.
