Vanderpump Rules fans were proud of Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, and Lisa Vanderpump for making it very clear that they don’t condone the homophobic and transphobic things that the pastor who was set to marry Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor said. However, they are questioning where this energy was for Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni whose past vile tweets have been exposed.
Max was introduced on the show as the manager of Tom Tom — a position that he still holds.
Boyens was recently slammed for tweets that he sent out when he was 19-years-old.
‘It upsets me that the word n**** is not allowed to be said unless you are black because quite honestly it’s my favorite word.’
‘Something about Asians that just makes me want to punch them in the suck hole.’
He also went on to call Justin Bieber a homophobic slur. Brett Caprioni tweeted similar things and both of the newbies apologized.
After the tweets went viral, LVP made a statement condemning the messages but allowed them to keep their job because they expressed remorse.
Recently, Tom told US Weekly that he ‘yelled’ at Max over his tweets but excused him because he was young and claimed that his grandfather is African-American.
‘I hit him up and yelled at him about it. Max is nothing like that. A lot of those tweets, Max comes from an ethnic background. His grandfather fought Muhammad Ali. He’s 100 percent African-American. He’s just was a stupid 19-year-old kid.’
In the latest episode of the show, Sandoval, Madix, and Vanderpump bring it to Brittany and Jax’s attention that Ryan Dotson has said terrible things about the LGBTQ community.
Sandoval even asks Taylor why it took Lisa saying something for them to change wedding officiators.
Although fans were proud of them for condemning Dotson, many are wondering why they aren’t doing the same with Boyens and Caprioni.
Even Jax chimed in with a tweet and delete to point it out.
‘[Tom Sandoval’s] manager tweeted out all types of homophobic remarks, and racist things and not ONE thing was done about it. Funny how that is not mentioned at all.’
It will be interesting to see if the issue is addressed at the Vanderpump Rules reunion.
