Vanderpump Rules - Katie Maloney-Schwartz Launches New Podcast After Stassi Schroeder's Disappeared Due To Racism Controversy

Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney-Schwartz has announced that she is launching a new podcast titled You’re Gonna Love Me with Katie Maloney. The news of her new project comes in the wake of Bravo firing four of her co-stars – Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni – for past racist comments.

In addition to losing her job on Vanderpump Rules, Schroeder also lost her Straight Up with Stassi podcast, all of her brand deals, and her agent, PR firm, and publicist. While Boyens and Caprioni were terminated because of past racist tweets, Schroeder and Doute lost their job because of their behavior towards former castmate Faith Stowers, the only black VPR cast member in eight seasons.

There’s a possibility that the major cast shake-up isn’t done yet, as fans have called for Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright to be fired because of their past racially insensitive behavior. Taylor accused Stowers on social media of stealing his truck and going AWOL from the military, while Stowers says that Cartwright once called her a “nappy headed hoe.”

Despite all of the controversy, Maloney-Schwartz is moving forward with her new podcast, and the description of the show features the opening line: “A B*tch a mean girl, a bully…There’s not many names Katie hasn’t been called.”

Maloney-Schwartz claims her podcast will hopefully “open the eyes, the ears and the hears of anyone who has judged or been judged.” She promises to talk to “plenty of familiar faces, including those who have thrown some shade, spent time in the shade, or just enjoy the shade.”

“After all this is a conversation that involves everybody. Why do we judge, what is the criteria for who gets to judge and why. None of us are perfect, we’re all just human, so let’s spend a little less time judging, and a little more time loving,” says Maloney-Schwartz in the preview.

Even though Katie Maloney-Schwartz is ready to talk, Taylor and Cartwright have remained relatively silent during the Vanderpump Rules controversy. A petition is circulating calling on Bravo to fire Taylor, and his former friend Lance Bass has said publicly he believes the network will end up letting Taylor go.
