Vanderpump Rules Producers Spill On What Really Went Down At Tom Tom's First Party

During a recent episode of Vanderpump Rules, fans got a behind-the-scenes look at what it took to produce Tom Tom’s first big event. However, it was the enhanced version Vanderpump Rules: Pumped Up, where producers revealed all of the juicy details about what really went down that night. So, what did producers see as the night unfolded?

Lisa Vanderpump Loves To Drink

After making it clear that her goal was to get “slaughtered” at the bar, LVP ended up drinking the most that night. Tom Sandoval says that his Tom Tom partner is “really cute and fun” when she drinks, and Katie Maloney-Schwartz declared that she was the drunkest person at the event “after Lisa.”

The two Toms behind Tom Tom, both put their heart and soul into the new restaurant. Producers say that when the pressure is on, Sandoval works better than Schwartz. However, they added that the Toms make a great team, and they balance each other out.

Ariana Gets Emotional

Producers say that Ariana Madix won the award for “most emotional” person of the night. Madix thought back to her days of working at Villa Blanca with Sandoval and him dreaming of owning his own bar. Now that Tom Tom is a reality, Madix couldn’t be prouder.

James Kennedy Sat On Toilet Paper

The DJ setup at Tom Tom wasn’t exactly up to James Kennedy’s standards. The cramped space and outlet placement forced Kennedy to sit in a supply closet on top of toilet paper rolls, and the producers loved it.

Lala Kent Has An Idea

If Vanderpump needs inspiration for her next bar, maybe she should talk to Lala Kent. She says that if she opened her own bar, the name would be Daddy’s.

According to the Daily Dish, the production team almost missed filming the event because of permit problems. They couldn’t get approval for filming until Tom Tom got their operating permits. That took a lot longer than expected, so the crew didn’t get the filming go ahead until about 24 hours before the party.

Even though Tom Tom just opened, it has already scored a major award. Los Angeles Travel Magazine has named it the best bar in Southern California.
