After Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay revealed on her Scheananigans podcast this week that she had suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage, her boyfriend Brock Davies posted a message of support.
Davies posted a pic of the couple enjoying a moment on the beach, with Davies holding Shay in his arms with his back to the camera. Davies is wearing a speedo in the photo, while Shay’s water shoes are on full display as she smiles at the camera.

In the caption, Davies wrote: “She has my back and I have Hers.”
Just one day before Davies’ post, Shay – who has previously shared that she frozen some of her eggs – shared the news that after a “miracle pregnancy” she had suffered a miscarriage.
“I didn’t think that I could get pregnant on my own. My AMH levels, for those of you who know what they are, were 0.28. That’s basically your fertility levels, and that tells you your egg count. I have very low ovarian reserve,” explained Shay.
The SURver admitted that when she took a pregnancy test and it turned out positive, she and Davies were shocked. But, they still told their family and friends, and they planned a surprise for her dad on Father’s Day so they could share their baby news with him.
However, before she had the chance to share with her dad that she was pregnant, Shay says that she started “bleeding all weekend, and it wasn’t stopping.”
Davies took Shay to the doctor on his birthday, June 15, and her blood tests were sending mixed signals. Shay said that her HCG (pregnancy hormone) level had “went up significantly,” but it wasn’t “doubling or tripling” like it should. Also, her progesterone had “dropped significantly.”

After going on progesterone supplements, Shay says the bleeding stopped. Between that and her own research, the Bravolebrity says she was still holding on to “that little bit of hope.” But, that all changed when she went in for her ultrasound.
It was during the ultrasound that Shay’s doctor told her and Davies that “there was no heartbeat,” and there was “nothing progressing” or “growing inside” Shay’s uterus.
“There were parts that he could see where [the fetus] was starting to form and it just didn’t,” Shay explained. “So obviously, [it was] just devastating. We were so excited. To be excited for a few weeks and then it’s gone so quickly. It’s still been a lot to process.”
Scheana Shay said now that she is home, she is waiting to “naturally miscarry.” She got emotional when she explained that she has to go back to the doctor this week so he can do another ultrasound because she is “just literally sitting here waiting.”
Shay says that she is feeling normal, but she is still treating her body as if she were pregnant. She described the experience as a “complete mindf*ck” because she knows there is nothing progressing, but there is still something there that she hasn’t passed yet.
Now, Shay is waiting to find out what the next step is, whether it will be taking a pill to stimulate passing the tissue. Or, if she will need to undergo a D&C surgery or “something else entirely.”
