James Kennedy has never been better. The DJ is focused on his music career and revealed a few tidbits that may be interesting to fans of Vanderpump Rules.
First and foremost, James is ten weeks sober. If you’ve been following his storyline, you’d know how his sobriety is linear to the way that he treats people.
‘I am 10 weeks [sober] this Friday. It’s been really good. Everything’s beautiful. I’ve been focusing on my sobriety and it’s been going really well. … Music has been just so good lately. I haven’t been procrastinating on s***,’ the happy producer said.
One of the co-stars that tends to get the brunt of his rage is his on-again off-again best friend, Lala Kent.
The two have been at odds on and off camera due to Kennedy’s insults about her relationship with her much older fiance Randall Emmett.
The friends have put the drama in the past and brought their passion to the studio.

He revealed to US Weekly: ‘We’re doing great. We’re on great terms and we’re making music as well together again. So you’ll be hearing some of that soon. We’ve got a track called ‘Ride With Me,’ which is about just, like, ride or dies. How friends got one another’s back. … Through the ups and the downs.’
Speaking of ups and downs, the last time viewers checked in, James was an enemy of Jax Taylor. The newlywed has been at odds with half of the VPR cast who he has decided to block from social media.
Although we don’t know where the Topman rapper’s relationship stands with Taylor, he offered insight on why Taylor is so quick to hit the block button — on friends and followers!
‘I think Jax just blocks people on Instagram when he gets mad and he doesn’t care for the followers as much as some of the other influencers, if you will. So he doesn’t mind blocking people because he just doesn’t really care about Instagram. I think. He’s just like living his own life.’
It’s great to see that James is in a good place and hopefully, it stays that way.
