In the past year or so, Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor has cleaned up his act and transformed from a lying, cheating boyfriend to a man who is preparing to tie the knot with his girlfriend, Brittany Cartwright. He has worked hard to repair his reputation, so when someone tries to go after him, he isn’t going to back down and take it.

Earlier this week Taylor told fans that someone has been attempting to slander his name and reputation.

“They have gone out of their way to reach out to every company I’ve ever partnered with, my network, my management team, and my family, claiming that I never served in the navy and I would be facing immeasurable repercussions for stolen valor. I typically don’t waste my time with trolls like these, but this person has gone too far without knowing or investigating the facts,” wrote Taylor on Instagram.

According to All About TRH, Taylor decided to defend himself by revealing the truth about his military service, which is something he has never done during his time on reality TV. Taylor wrote that he served in the US Navy back in 1998 on the USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN-7, which was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia.

He added that he went to school in San Antonio, Texas, at Lackland Air Force Base, and he also completed Boot Camp at Great Lakes, Chicago, Illinois.

Taylor also revealed that he did one tour in Kosovo.

The 39-year-old said that his entire family – especially his dad – was extremely proud of him for serving in the Navy, and he remembers the tears in his dad’s eyes when he graduated.

Taylor said that he is not taking this situation lightly, and there will be consequences for the person trying to “tarnish such an integral part” of his life. He also made it clear that he would be taking legal action.

Later, Jax Taylor revealed the identity of the woman who was trying to take him down and told fans to have some fun with it. He eventually deleted the post, but fans still got the chance to see a screenshot of a woman named Julia L’s Instagram account.
