Vanessa Bryant has decided to pay tribute to her late husband, Kobe Bryant, and their 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, with new tattoos.
The mom of four was featured in several videos where the pain in her eyes and heart were visible as she memorialized Gigi and Kobe thanks to tattoo artist Nikko Hurtado.
Vanessa inked a love message that Kobe left her on her neck, and she wrote a note from Gigi on her wrist.
The brave mom captioned the videos: “I wanted my boo boo’s @kobebryant sweet message transferred on me.”
She later added: “@nikkohurtado came through for me. Thank you! #inked #messagetransfer #BooBoo #throwback. Shoutout to @nikkohurtado for coming over and helping me get my Gigi’s sweet message transferred on me. #throwbacktoFebruary.”
Hurtado responded by: “Truly honored to give you something to keep with you, my friend. 🙏🏼”
Vanessa said that Kobe had many romantic gestures towards her during a public memorial service at the Staples Center: “He was truly the romantic one in our relationship. I look forward to Valentine’s Day and our anniversaries every year. He plans special anniversary trips and a special traditional gift for every year of our marriage. He even had made my most treasured gifts. He just thought outside the box; it was so thoughtful, even while working hard to be the best athlete.”
One fan said this: “She looks like she got so much going through her head… She seems so numb to life … tattoo doesn’t look like one bother. I just want to hug her so bad 😢 God bless her and the girls.”
Another backer wrote: “She’s so strong, and I constantly pray God continues to move their family forward🙏🏽🙏🏽 Forever in our hearts 💕 forever in your soul Vanessa.”
A third supporter revealed the following: “Her eyes are beautiful and sad at the same time! Awww man! I just get overwhelmed for her! She a strong lady!she looks so drained… lord wrap her up, please. Kobe’s death still hasn’t never sat right with me.”
A fourth follower stated: “She is so strong bruh like a crown this lady already 😩My heart goes out to her every time ❤️”
