Victoria Beckham Says She And David Beckham Couldn't Be Happier About Their Oldest Son Brooklyn's Engagement News

Over the weekend, Brooklyn Beckham – the oldest son of Victoria and David Beckham – revealed on Instagram that he popped the question to his girlfriend, Nicola Peltz, after going public with their relationship just seven months ago, and she said “Yes.” As she prepares to become a mother-in-law, Victoria says that she and her husband couldn’t be happier.

Brooklyn first shared the news on Saturday morning with an Instagram post that featured a pic of him and Peltz, 25, standing in a field with a beautiful blue sky in the background. Peltz wore a gorgeous yellow dress (designed by Victoria!) and Brooklyn wore a dark blue suit as the couple appears to be getting ready to share a kiss.

In the caption, Brooklyn wrote: “Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day ❤️ I love you baby xx.”

In the comments, Peltz replied that she was “so lucky” to be able to call Brooklyn “mine.”

Peltz also shared the engagement news in her own Instagram post, writing that Brooklyn had made her the “luckiest girl in the world,” and she can’t wait to spend the rest of her life by Brooklyn’s side.

Not long after 21-year-old Brooklyn posted the announcement, Victoria posted the same pic and wrote in the caption that she had “the MOST exciting news” to share.

“We could not be happier that @brooklynbeckham and @nicolaannepeltz are getting married! Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness 🙏🏻We all love you both so much x.”

Brooklyn is the oldest of David and Victoria’s four children. Brooklyn has two younger brothers – Romeo, 17, and Cruz, 15 – and he also has an eight-year-old sister named Harper. Romeo posted a congratulatory message for his big brother and future sister-in-law on his Instagram Story, while Cruz added: “LOVE YOU.”

Nicola Peltz revealed at the end of her caption that the special engagement photo of her and Brooklyn Beckham was taken by eight-year-old Harper earlier this month.
