Wendy Williams' Break Extends Indefinitely As She Suffers Graves’ Disease Complications

It looks like Wendy Williams’ return to her talk show has been postponed even more! The woman is taking an ‘extended break’ due to complications of her Graves disease and having to spend time in the hospital.

An official announcement reads: ‘Wendy will be under strict supervision of her physicians, and also, as part of her care, there will be some significant time spent in the hospital. Despite her very strong desire to return, she’s taking a necessary extended break from her show to just focus on her personal and physical well being.’

Finally, the star showed her gratitude towards the fans who have been sending her well-wishes and asked people for privacy during this time.

In December, Williams fractured her shoulder, and the talk show’s audience noticed she was a ‘little off’ prior to the winter break.

She was forced to explain why she was acting so odd on camera, saying that it was because of the pain medication she had taken.

The woman also promised that after taking a break, she would return to her job in the new year, stronger than ever.

Initially, the break was supposed to end at the beginning of this month and was then pushed to January 21 so she could recover.

At the moment, her break’s length is indefinite.

It seems like no matter what, Wendy Williams is followed by misfortune and health problems even in 2019.

Until she will be well enough to return to her talk show, there will be re-runs airing for a week, and then it will start featuring guest hosts.
