Hunter and Williams were married for over two decades before calling it quits. Apart from their relationship, Hunter was an integral part of Williams’ success, serving as her manager and helping get The Wendy Williams Show off the ground. Now that Williams has officially kicked him to the curb, Hunter is confident he can return to the world of television with a younger model.

“Kevin believes he is the brains of the operation,” a source shared, “and is confident that he will be able to find a new, younger lady to turn into a star.”

According to Radar Online, Williams filed divorce papers a week ago and is starting to regret the move. Sources claim that Hunter and his pals are trying their best to persuade Williams to salvage the marriage. She is also allegedly afraid about being alone and is unsure she can find success without Hunter guiding her along.

Prior to dating Hunter, Williams was the owner of a beauty parlor. She had absolutely zero experience in front of the cameras before launching her talk show. Hunter and Williams tied the knot in 1997 and had a son, Kevin Jr., three years later. The couple started The Wendy Williams Show back in 2011.

Williams reportedly filed for divorce after learning that Hunter had a child with his mistress. Once the divorce is finalized, there is a strong chance that Hunter will lose his job on the show. With his demise imminent, the insider revealed that Hunter has already been in contact with some young talent he wants to turn into stars.

For her part, Wendy Williams just announced that she is no longer living in a sober home and has completed her treatment program.
