Wendy Williams' Own Staff Reportedly Wants Her Gone After Nick Cannon's Stint Hosting The Show

Nick Cannon is off to a great start and is getting very comfortable on that sofa because Wendy Williams might not be coming back anytime soon if her employees have anything to do about it.

A source, who spoke to Radar Online, explained that the staff members of The Wendy Williams show were miserable when the host was there.

As fans may already be aware, Wendy has taken a break from the gabfest to focus on her health.

The person in the know claims that employees are hoping that Wendy and her husband, Kevin Hunter, will take a permanent vacation after she recuperates because they do not wish to see her on the set ever again.

The tipster claimed that show can go out without Wendy and added: “It has been like a vacation having guest hosts Opens a New Window… Everyone is laughing and smiling and working together. We all had gotten so used to walking on eggshells around Wendy and Kevin; we forgot what a fun work environment was. At first, the staff was worried about losing their jobs. Now it looks like the show can survive without Wendy, and a lot of people don’t want her to return.”

According to the publication Wendy’s “diva behavior” was a nightmare for her staff members and her husband was not easy to work with either.

The unnamed employee shared: “There was so many unwritten rules with working with Wendy. You couldn’t contact her directly. Only certain staff members could talk with her. No one was allowed to disagree with him. It was a nightmare work environment. You never knew what mood Wendy or Kevin were going to be in.”

Another source spoke to Hollywood Life and explained that Wendy is not going anywhere and her team needs to come to grip with that reality.

The tipster claimed: “Wendy is confident that she is irreplaceable on her own show, no one can do what she does as well. While Wendy still has no timetable as to when she will return, she is excited and looking forward to returning as soon as possible.”

The source added: “Wendy is grateful for her guest hosts, who have been filling in while she has been out, and thinks they are doing a great job. She is also happy, healing and excited to get back to work. She can’t wait to get back to her show and deliver like only she can for her fans.”
