Wendy Williams Scolds Odell Beckham After He Gets In Trouble With The Law Over Slapping A Cop's Behind - ‘You Should’ve Known Better!’

Odell Beckham Jr. is reportedly in trouble with the law after allegedly slapping a cop’s butt while inside LSU’s locker room earlier this month! Wendy Williams could not help but discuss the bizarre misdemeanor, calling him out by stressing that he is ‘old enough’ to know better than to do something like that.

The talk show host slammed the 27 year old Cleveland Browns wide receiver, holding nothing back.

As you may have heard, this happened after LSU’s big win on Monday.

As the team was celebrating in the locker room, the excitement was filmed and the footage became viral after making its way to social media!

Now, a rep for the NOPD tells HollywoodLife that ‘The New Orleans Police Department issued a misdemeanor arrest warrant for simple battery for Odell Beckham Jr. on Thursday.’

As for what Wendy had to say about the incident, she ranted: ‘You should’ve known better. Odell, at 27-years-old, you’re old enough to understand political correctness in the times we live in now. You can’t just slap people on the booty. He probably knows it’s not right for a man to a woman or a woman to a man, but you can’t even do that locker room thing. That cop [in the video] wasn’t playing that.’

Wendy also stressed that things could have been so much worse for him.

‘You’re lucky you only got battery. What if he filed for sexual assault?… Odell, come on, you can’t play that clown mess!’ she went on to further scold the man.

A statement about the incident was also released by The Cleveland Browns after the news that an arrest warrant had been issued.

They made it very clear that they were aware of what had happened and that they had been in touch with the player and his reps regarding the issue.
