Despite the fact that a big number of critics have been saying Kate Hudson is too skinny to join Weight Watchers as its newest brand ambassador, it turns out that Wendy Williams completely disagrees! The talk show host does not blame the actress at all for her decision and wants the haters to just leave her alone. Here’s why!
Kate Hudson has been getting a lot of backlash over not having the ‘right image’ to represent the brand.
During her Hot Topics segment on her show, Williams shared with the studio audience that ‘People are pissed at Kate Hudson… She said she is having trouble losing weight. I do not know what she has lost, but she said she wants to lose 25 pounds… She has got a multi million dollar contract with them, then why not? If they are going to give it to her why should she say no.’
She went on to argue that everyone should ‘get off her strap, because I am thinking fans of Kate Hudson are not 22. I think fans her fans are 39-ish or youthful 35, more mature. She’s good DNA, she has never been fat in her life. She comes from good genes and if she snaps back, and we do not, who are we to blame? If she gets an offer for WW and we are still sitting on the couch after five years no baby weight loss, then who are we to blame [her]?’
As you may know, Hudson shared the news that she had joined the brand now known as WW a couple of days ago.
She announced it on social media and was even welcomed to it by none other than Oprah via Facetime call!
