Cameras recently caught Wendy Williams wearing her wedding ring even though she is going through a nasty divorce from her ex, Kevin Hunter, and has already started dating again. Why would the diva talk show host wear her wedding ring after she and Hunter split?

While leaving Craig’s in West Hollywood, TMZ cameras caught Williams wearing the ring, and when a photographer asked her about it, she didn’t respond. Instead, she put the 7-carat diamond ring on display for everyone to see.

Considering the fact that Williams was the one who was making the money during her marriage to Hunter, chances are she paid for that ring herself and has every right to still wear it if she wants to.

“It’s a 7-carat stone. The stone originally was maybe 3 carats, but he replaced it in our seventh year,” Williams revealed in a 2008 interview.

Despite wearing her wedding ring, Williams has put her marriage to Hunter behind her and has moved on with a younger man. The 54-year-old recently posted a pic on Instagram of herself snuggling up to a mystery man while she was in California.

In the caption, Williams wrote that she enjoyed a beautiful sunset in Sherman Oaks, and she told her fans that California had won her over. She added that she would be returning in August for the Hip Hop Festival. Then, she included the hashtags, #oldenoughtobeyourmother, #verysexyman, and #mynewlife.

Last month, Williams told her fans on The Wendy Williams Show that she had started dating again just weeks after filing for divorce from Hunter.

“I don’t have a boyfriend, but I must admit I am rediscovering my love of men,” Williams said. “And, you know transparency — I do date. I date pretty often. And, the parade of men will continue! Because I need things lifted, I need things put into position.”

Williams added that she is now a young, pretty, single girl in New York City who lives in the ultimate bachelorette pad.

The talk show host filed for divorce from Hunter after 22 years of marriage because of his infidelity. Hunter reportedly had a ten-year affair with Sharina Hudson, and they welcomed a baby girl in March.
