Chris Pratt was all over the headlines earlier in the week after Twitter users dubbed him as the “worst Hollywood Chris.” People Magazine has suggested that it probably has to do with a joke he recently made online.

In case you missed it, Amy Berg asked her Twitter followers which Chris in Hollywood was the worst from the following list: Pratt, Pines, Hemsworth, and Evans, and most people argued that Pratt had to go. The 41-year-old actor suddenly began to trend.

However, many of the Jurassic World star’s friends and collaborators in the entertainment business came to bat for him, including people like Zoe Saldana and Robert Downey Junior. Katherine Schwarzenegger, his wife, also defended him.

Reportedly, Pratt came under fire as a result of making fun of celebrities and performers urging people to vote in the upcoming election this year. The father of two wrote in the caption of his Instagram post, “just ask any celebrity,” after talking about how important the election is.

He added, “they will tell you.” Pratt then went on to joke about the People’s Choice Awards, saying that it was easily the most significant thing to vote on this year. Pratt joked that if people don’t vote in the People’s Choice Awards, they will die.

Not long after, Katherine, his wife, came out in support of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the vice-presidential and presidential nominees from the Democratic party. The star went on to say that she expected to hear backlash from people who supported Trump.

Mark Ruffalo, on the other hand, another one of his Avengers co-stars, claimed Pratt wasn’t political “as a rule.” He wrote that it was a “distraction,” and it was crucial for everyone to keep their eye on the prize.

As it was noted above, Robert Downey Junior was just one celebrity who came to bat for Chris Pratt. He accused the Twitter users of being sad and unhappy in their existence, so much to the point that they felt the need to attack another person online.
