Who Is Southern Charm Star Kathryn Dennis' New BF Hunter Price?

Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis hasn’t dated much since her split from Thomas Ravenel back in 2016. She has been busy bettering herself with treatment and getting past her drug problems, fighting to get full custody of her kids, and filming episodes of Southern Charm. But now, Dennis has gone public with a new relationship. The reality star is dating former America’s Got Talent contestant, Hunter Price, and she recently made things Instagram official.

Last week, Dennis posted a black-and-white pic with Price on the social media platform, adding the simple caption of a black heart emoji and tagging Hunter. When a fan asked Dennis “Who’s this?” she replied, “my person.”

Dennis’ Southern Charm cast mate Naomie Olindo commented on the pic, writing “OoOoOoOoO insta offish.” And, Dennis responded with “right?! tH@t$ wHeN u KnO iT$ rE@L amirite??”

Price also posted the photo on his Instagram account, but his was in color.

The singer is from Georgia and was a contestant on Season 13 of AGOT, auditioning with the Bryan Adams’ song Everything I do (I Do It For You).  He says that it was his mom who encouraged him to start performing by entering him into a karaoke contest when he was 18. He continues to do it because it makes him happy.

After singing the 90s ballad in his first audition, Simon Cowell made him sing a different song, and he performed an original piece called Left Behind. That got him through to the next round, but he was eventually eliminated in the round of Judge Cuts.

Hunter says that he wants to be like Taylor Swift when it comes to singing and songwriting, and he is currently performing in Nashville on a regular basis. He is still an unsigned artist, but fans can buy some of his music on iTunes.

During the holidays, multiple dating rumors swirled around Dennis, with one being that she was dating her co-star, Austen Kroll. When she posted a pic at Thanksgiving of her and Kroll, fans started asking if the two were dating, and others wondered if Dennis was pregnant.

Kathryn Dennis responded by saying, “No, I have just gained weight.” And, Kroll wrote, “Some of these people are absurd. Thankful for you! Oh, and my stomach is still recovering!”

As for Price, it’s not clear yet if he will appear on episodes of Southern Charm in the upcoming season. Fans will just have to wait and see.

New episodes of Southern Charm will return to Bravo later this year.
