According to the International Business Times, one thing that most Marvel movies have in common is a brief cameo from Stan Lee, the creator of some of the most iconic comics of all time. However, Mr. Lee died last year and fans are now wondering if he’ll appear in the latest movie.
Released on the 26th of April, Stan Lee will, thankfully, have a cameo in Avengers: Endgame. The co-director of the project, Joe Russo, said to reporters from Mashable that “it’s his last one committed to film.”
The insinuation behind the wording supposedly implies that he may appear in other movies as an animated figure, in the same manner, that he did in Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse as well as Big Hero 6.
Deadpool 2 featured Lee as a mural whereas Daredevil had the creator dressed as a police officer on advertisements, murals, and posters littered around the scene.
As it was previously reported, Stan Lee died last year at the age of 95-years-old and the comic world has been reeling ever since it was first revealed. One person who caused a considerable controversy following his passing was Bill Maher.
Bill wrote a blog post on his website in which he questioned Stan’s contributions to the cultural landscape, facetiously adding that Stan “inspired people to go see a movie.”
Later on, Bill said that he wasn’t surprised that a nation that venerates comic books would also be the same one to vote in Donald Trump as its president. Bill’s comments caused offense among Stan’s more dedicated fans.
Lee died on the 12th of November, 2018, and his cause of death was revealed to be cardiac arrest. He was 95-years-old. It’s currently unclear how Stan will appear in the new Avengers: Endgame movie, but fans can be certain he will be there.
Avengers: Endgame features an ensemble cast of Josh Brolin, Don Cheadle, Bradley Cooper, Tessa Thompson, Danai Gurira, Gwyneth Paltrow, Paul Rudd, Mark Ruffalo, Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Junior, and Chris Hemsworth among many others.
