WWE Star Ashley Massaro Dead At 39 Her Daughter Alexa Shares Heartfelt Instagram Post To Her Mom

Former WWE superstar Ashley Massaro has died tragically at the age of 39. She passed away on Thursday morning.
A spokesperson for Suffolk County police department shared with People magazine they are not releasing details of Massaro’s death, but they are not classifying the case a criminal. Authorities were called to her home Thursday and immediately took the WWE star to the local hospital where she sadly passed away.
Massaro burst onto the professional wrestling circuit in 2005, after she won the Diva Search and a one year $250,000 contract. She would be part of the WWE for three years becoming one of the best female wrestlers around, especially when it came to tag team. In 2007, she was favored to win the women’s final match at Wrestlemania but ultimately lost to Melina.

Right before she stopped wrestling in 2008, Massaro appeared on the hit CBS reality TV show Survivor China. She had physical strength on her side, but unfortunately, she got extremely sick in the first few days and was the second contestant voted off the island.
Most recently Massaro tweeted about the possibility of getting back into wrestling with NYWC.
“Super pumped n ready to see what I got left in these ole boots of mine!” she Tweeted.
Reality TV star and former WWE star Ashley Massaro has died at only 39-years-old. No one is reeling from the shocking loss more than her daughter, Alexa Massaro. The 18-year-old used Instagram to share a heartfelt message to her mom, via Instagram stories.
“I wish I could have gotten more recent pictures. I love you, mommy, I want to wake up in your arms more than anything I want to give u a big hug please come back this can’t be real,” the young woman expressed.

Massaro had her only child when she was just 20-years-old. The two were as thick as thieves, and she often referred to Alexa has her best friend.
“My little angel baby and I so long ago. Her bday is in 2 weeks, and she will be 18. Time flew, I could cry thinking about it, but I know the closeness we share will never change no matter how old she gets,” Massaro expressed as her baby girl became an adult last summer.
