Andy Cohen became a first-time dad at the age of 50 earlier this year when he welcomed his son Ben via surrogate. Cohen is a proud papa who loves to show off his baby on Instagram, but if the new judge that President Trump nominated had her way, Cohen wouldn’t have been able to have Ben, and that has him seeing red.

During a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Cohen called out newly confirmed federal judge Sarah Pitlyk – who President Trump nominated – as his “Jackhole of the Day” because she is a longtime anti-surrogacy advocate.

President Trump nominated Pitlyk for a federal judgeship in Cohen’s home state of Missouri and she was later confirmed by the Senate, even though she has “never participated at any stage in a criminal matter.” Instead, Pitlyk has spent her career “aggressively going after the rights of people to use fertility treatments and surrogacy.”

The position comes with a lifetime appointment, and Cohen explained to his viewers just how much damage Pitlyk could cause for people who wish to start a family using alternative methods.

“Meaning if you were one of the millions of couples struggling to conceive or have turned to surrogacy to start a family, like I did to have Ben, you are totally screwed on this woman’s watch,” said Cohen.

He continued by saying that the American Bar Association rated Pitlyk “not qualified for the role,” and what she has done in her career is made this country “less safe and fair for people whose greatest wish is to have a family.”

Cohen ended his rant by telling Judge Pitlyk that he will be sending a shipment of poopy diapers to her on behalf of his son.

When Cohen posted the clip on his Instagram page, he wrote in the caption that he is “enraged,” and fans quickly flooded the comments section with messages of support. One fan wrote that this is why they left Missouri, and another called Pitlyk a “waste of space.”

A third fan wrote that she was a woman who was struggling with fertility, and it was disheartening to know another woman could take away her chance of being a mother.
