According to a report from Page Six, Yolanda Hadid took to her social media on Saturday to share a tribute to her late mother, Ans van den Herik, who passed away at the age of 78-years-old. The 55-year-old wrote on her Instagram, “RIP my guardian angel mama.”
The reality star shared multiple photos of van den Herik in her honor. You can check out one post from the reality star below. Gigi Hadid, also shared a photo of her grandmother as well, stating that she fought cancer not once but six times.
In addition to the outpouring of support from fans, the Hadids received nice comments from some of their more famous friends as well, including Chrissy Teigen, who commented on the Bravo star’s post.
Some of Yolanda’s Real Housewives co-stars shared kind words of encouragement as well, including Erika Jayne and Kyle Richards. Kyle wrote that she was “so sorry” for her loss.
Admittedly, this marks a change in tone of the Hadid media coverage, following the recent revelation that Gigi Hadid and Tyler Cameron reportedly started seeing each other. Gigi was linked to the singer and ex-One Direction member, Zayn Malik, whereas Tyler was briefly involved with Hannah Brown from The Bachelorette.
Reported approximately one week ago from People Magazine, spectators claimed that Gigi and Tyler made their romance official when they appeared at the 2019 VMAs after-parties together.
Gigi and her sister, Bella, were at the event together and they celebrated with their close friend, Taylor Swift, when Tyler chose to get in on the fun. Reported first by E! News, Swift gave Cameron a really “big hug” when he arrived.
Gigi and Tyler were first seen hanging out in New York City near the beginning of August, and since then, they’ve been hanging out a lot more. On the 15th of August, for instance, the 24-year-old supermodel and The Bachelorette runner-up, 26-years-old, were photographed driving around upstate New York.
